Linux-based set-top box MAG424/424w3
MAG424/424w3 is a cost-effective UHD IPTV/OTT solution intended for medium to large sized operators and telecommunication service providers. The set-top box performed in small form-factor. It has 1 GB operative and 8 GB flash memory, which is good enough to playback and store the high-quality video.
MAG424/424w3 plays the HEVC-compressed files. It means the network load will be lower, even when delivering 4K content. The device runs on Linux OS and fully meets the most stringent requirements of the IPTV/OTT market.

MAG424w3 is an improved version of the base model MAG424 with a built-in Wi-Fi module of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standard. Wi-Fi works feature is dual-band so that support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels.

Built-in Wi-Fi module
A built-in Wi-Fi module (for MAG424w3) and USB 3.0 allow connecting any external drive for extra storage space or a keyboard and mouse for comfortably using the set-top box.
Modern high-performance processor on the HiSilicon chipset Hi3798MV200 and 1 GB RAM is good enough to playback 4K video.
The set-top box and remote control are presented in the new Micro Fusion design. They will look good in any interior.
With HEVC, 4K video can be efficiently transmitted throw modern fiber-optics networks. MAG424 is a great example of high-quality HEVC support by both the hardware and software of the device.
