Visitors were very excited about our new model - MAG410. Customers were waiting for 4K set-top box from our company and we coped with this task. Moreover, MAG410 supports HEVC, which helps to lower the network load when delivering 4k content. In this regard, the question of the date when the set-top boxes will hit the market sounded most often at our stand. We promise that the waiting won’t last long. MAG410 will be available this summer. In addition, stable interest in IPTV/OTT operators is caused by Stalker Middleware and the accompanying multiscreen-app StlakerTV for iOS and Android. Telecommunications operators use Stalker all over the world and they are pleased that its capabilities expand to multiscreen.
Tell us about what trends were the most popular in the segment of IPTV/OTT?
During the exhibition, we received many requests for a solution that included "all" components - the so-called Turn Key Solution. Operators value their time and don’t want to receive separate components, the integration of which will require further spending of additional resources. We listened attentively to all the wishes of our customers and we’ll implement them within our own integrated solution - Magic Solution. Our developers are constantly working to expand its functionality. Equally, an important trend is the protection of content. In this direction, we have been cooperating with Verimatrix for a long time and in the near future we plan to develop cooperation with other leaders of the DRM market.
Who of the partners visited the NAB Show?
At such high-profile events we always meet a lot of friends. Among them - the platform Zixi, which has already successfully implemented its solution in our set-top boxes. Also, we had a meeting with partners from Telebreeze. The negotiating point was features of promotion in the American market. We understand how important is to develop partnerships with integrators located in the North American market. There were several meetings with the representatives of interesting services at the exhibition. We liked what we saw and heard. I think that in the future Infomir will be cooperating with different companies in the aim meeting the needs of our customers in this market.
