What is your general impression of IBC 2016?

Infomir team is an annual participant of this event. I was glad to notice that the exhibition became even bigger this year. It is one of the iconic events of the industry, thus we pay special attention to preparation.  What’s more, IBC is not only a good chance to present our recent developments but also a traditional meeting point. We were glad to meet a lot of our clients from all over the world at our stand. They traveled a long way to discover new trends and to give feedbacks about solutions they already use. It is important for us as the customer experience is a source of our strategic decisions when developing the product.

Which technologies realized in Infomir products have attracted the most of visitors’ interest?

Market is developing dynamically so we are trying to work for leading. Most of our elaborations presented this year are especially up-to-date. One of them is MAG257 – the modern set-top box with HEVC support. When we presented MAG257 last year people were interested in its performance, but now they show extensive demand for HEVC feature.

What top tendencies Infomir is going to pursue?

Main trends now are piracy fighting and content security. Accordingly, Infomir integrates more and more products with advanced content security technologies. We do our best to provide the market with the safest and the most reliable products. Today this is number one priority for us.

Which new software solutions were introduced by Infomir?

This year exhibition visitors could try out new Stalker Middleware features: modular architecture, updated list of embedded apps and multiscreen technology, which is extremely popular. Stalker Multiscreen is now running on iOS, Android and Samsung SmartTV operating systems. The last one has created quite a stir as it offers new monetization opportunities.  We are happy to see such a warm welcome to our new Stalker Middleware. That means we are moving the right way.
